Valentines Day Sensory Bin

Let’s make a valentines day sensory bin together. I always love to include the PDF below with all my sensory bin activities so that I have a starting point for what I need and how I can use it, as well as a picture to guide me for what I’m hoping it will turn out like.

I looked up a whole bunch of different options for themed sensory bins + decided that I just wanted a whole bunch of different textures + shapes + colors. I went to both Hobby Lobby + the Dollar Tree and picked up lots of different options for the bin, then got home, sorted them all + picked a few of most of the items to add to the bin.

I spent about $18 on everything and can use a lot of it for multiple other ideas I have for Valentine’s Day. I also loved all the different textures and the conversations that Ryder and I had together about the size (big or small), firms (soft or hard), color (pink, white, red, etc), and textures (smooth, rough, shiny, foamy, spiky, etc). We talked through a lot of it together and then he worked to sort them by item on his own while I did nap time.

Anyways, it was super fun all around. Check out my IG highlight (sensory bins) for more ideas + to see this one in action!

Happy sensory table play!
